MPAN Lookup Tool
Your MPAN (Meter Point Administration Number) identifies your electricity connection. Enter the first 2 digits to find your Distribution Network Operator, likely electricity supplier, and their current SEG rate.
What is my current SEG rate?
Enter your MPAN number (found on your electricity bill) to identify your Distribution Network Operator and likely SEG rate.
Where to Find Your MPAN
Your electricity bill: Your MPAN is a 13-digit number usually printed on the first or second page of your bill. It may be labelled as "Supply Number" or "MPAN".
Your smart meter display: Some In-Home Displays show your MPAN under meter details or supply information.
Contact your DNO: Your Distribution Network Operator can provide both your import and export MPANs.
Import MPAN vs Export MPAN
Your import MPAN covers the electricity you buy. Your export MPAN covers the electricity you sell back via the SEG. You need your export MPAN to switch SEG supplier. If you do not have an export MPAN, your new SEG supplier can help you register one.
Ready to Switch?
If your current SEG rate is below the best available, switching could significantly increase your export earnings.
